On the USCIS site my 129 petition status is updated every working day thus far.

 

That's a good thing ... right? Means that someone is accessing and working on it.

Well, if it doesn't, it doesn't. I never saw it on mine, but they talk about it a lot on VJ (and even include it in their timelines).

 

I think it means that somebody actually picked up the file, and had to make an entry for that.

Just the fact that the date changed means that somebody must have "touched" it

 

Mine was "touched for 5 days in a row before being approved.

The date of last update on mine, is the day they put it into the system Maybe it means they are acutally working on your case. Good luck.

Hmmm ... trying to use all the clues ...

 

6th - 129 package filed

8th - NOA-1

9th - They cashed my check according to the stamp on back of image

10-11th - weekend

12, 13, 14 - Each day the "Last Updated" changed

15, 16 - Nothing

 

My assumption is that on 12-13-14 they were sending info from the package out for coordination with all those pieces of DHS that do an initial check.

 

Now they will probably do nothing until the replies start coming back, which will be signaled by more Last Updated changes.

Now that statement is truth !

 

That is why the K1 processing fee went to $165.........to pay the cleaning lady to keep dust from accumulating............

 

This is government efficiency !
