Whats in P3 and ............

My wife just recieved P3 from Hong Kong. It is for the k3 process and I would like to know whats in the packet, what needs to be sent back to HK, and what she keeps for the interview? Can anyone help me in this matter. Thanks in advance.

Here is what is in the FAQ, hope someone can concur:

 

 

K3:

A.1.10.3

If anyone is interested for future reference, I e-mailed Guangzhou and got this response:

 

"Thank you for your email. The Supplemental form is not needed for a K3 visa.

When Ms. XXXXX complete the forms, please return the forms 230-I and 169." -- April 2005

Yes, I agree. It was the same for our K3.

so far we have figured out that we have two copies of ds-156 and one copy of 230part1 to be sent back to HK....we have a checklist I believe we send that in once she has her police and birth info. then they will let us know about an interview. thats all i have right now hard to gather all the info because for us there is no OF169

Congratulations on the fast P3.

Proof again that if you can get your fiance moved to Hong Kong, or get married there to file for K3, that this would be the way to go to get things done in a more timely manner.

I don't follow.. The OF-169 is the checklist... you stated you have it, then state there is no OF-169 for you ?

 

YOU DO NOT NEED to collect those items on the OF-169 checklist before sending back the paperwork.

 

Send back all the paperwork ASAP and get in the interview queue. If you collect them now, some might expire by the time of the interview...

 

Collect them about two months prior and your golden.

Just to clarify about the OF-169... Checklist...

 

On Don's file location , http://home.comcast.net/~donahso/index.htm , this file is in three PDFs, one for each page. There is an english version and chinese version.

 

On the last page, at the bottom, it will show the form name , as , Optional Form 169.
