We pick up the phone regularly and call the GZ consulate requesting the status of our name-check progress. We thought it might have entered a black hole since it's been almost 5 months and we have not heard anything. DOS told us it might take up to 15 months to complete the name check. We tried GZ yesterday for a change instead of calling the DOS and found out that our case has came back in GZ in June 27th. The guy in the consulate told us to write a letter requesting a faster interview and fax it to them. We did and are anxieciouly waiting for a response. Name check is finally completed! YEAH!
