I-485

New question from me. Has anyone filed I-485? was perusing USCIS again. Stumbled on to this form. I gathered it can be filed after an noa? This just keeps getting better and better

K1 files it and K3 who wishes to persue AOS instead of IR1/CR1.

I Made straight A's my last two years in high school, excelled in the Marine Corps, made straight A's in a community college for 1.5 years while working full time for the Gov., and scored kind of high on an IQ test recently.

I-485 is for adjustment of status after she comes to america. Most K1s and K3's file this. Ths will get her the 'green card'. nothin' too worry about-it isn't all that bad and she will be here then anyway.

From what I understand when filing for a CR1/IR1 it can work to your advantage to file as K-3 also. I believe the idea is to get something to GZ to hold a place in line with the K-3 petition, then when the CR1/IR1 shows up it can take the place of the K-3 petition and possibly gain you a significant amount of time.

 

I know there are a number of people who have done this around who could help out and point you in the right direction.

 

The big trick is to get her here and not worry too much about which of the 2 options completed first.
