yyp
On the I-485 form it asks: Were you inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer? We are not clear if we should answer yes or no..... You would think there would be a line by line instruction sheet with the forms Link to comment
cosmiclobster
Geez, having a line by line explanation would make WAY too much sense!! How could they justify all them beaurocrats if they did things logically, easily or sensibly??? Were you inspected? Why yes sir, I was asked to open my mouth and he took a look at my molars then he got out the fine tooth comb. I can only assume that they meant were your papers inspected at the POE.We will probably put yes here - we are still gathering what we think we will need and then you will see the flood of questions that we have when it's our turn to file!!!. frank1538
I agree, and I agree. The form is asking whether an I.O. checked your papers at the POE. Instructions on the various government forms are a joke. Link to comment
yyp
After researching and not quite getting a clear answer I selected "Yes" was inspected by an immigration officer. I read a comment somewhere on the web that stated it could be a immigration, a public health, customs or janitorial officer B) Yes it would make way too much sense to actually have an explanation as to what the forms are asking for Actually you would think with all their high technology we are paying for with our fees...they would already know the answer Link to comment
