bubbafred10
I never send the originals. Always send the copy and provide a statement the original is available upon request. When I got my translated and notarized marriage certificate, I got 3 of them. It seems to be the standard number of copies given by China's notary and translation office. You may want to ask the embassy if they can make a copy and send you the originals. If I were you, I would get another set of notarized translated documents - 3 copies. It should cost equivalent of U$D 20 - 25, if done in China. They are good lifelong keepsakes, or for as long as the marriage which hopefully will be lifelong and makes great family treasure for the kids and grandkids. Link to comment
