Look in any book (at least all of mine are this way) and the word 'sun' is shown as "ri"... God forbid you say this in Baoding... apparently it can be understood in the local manner for 'sex'. So, don't try to get all poetic with 'ni shi wo de ri' ... I might now say this as a joke, but I got drilled with learning to say 'tai yang' ... crazy american typically came after the drilling...
