ckhang
I was at the IRS yestereday trying to square out the W7-form (ITIN) for my wife. The lady at the IRS office wants to see and make a copy of my wife's current IDD card (original, not copy) plus her passport which I have with me, and our marriage booklet/certiificate . Apparently her passport is not enough proof that she is still reside in China and is married me. Reason for the IDD card is for proof that she is a Chinese citizen. Now I am waiting for her IDD card to get here to me so i can get my refunds........ Link to comment
