congratulations... and welcome.. you've just boarded the human pulled tug boat to china...

 

You should get a notice of the application being received (NOA1) and eventually a notice of the application being approved (NOA2)... you could browse the forums and find some who have submitted to Nebraska this year to get an idea of when to expect these steps to occur... but my guess is about 3 months for NOA2...

Some things you can do while waiting:

-post a lot

-eat a lot of Cheetos

-get a cheap phone card and call your SO often

-visit your fiancee

The first two will help your sanity, the later two will help your relationship and chances for a visa
