tywy_99
We got an I-797C notice of action in the mail today. They want us to call and set up an appointment to do the fingerprinting again. We have already done that in January, 2004. Now they want my wife to do it again. At least there's no fee involved. We paid the 50 bucks the first time when it was still just 50 bucks! Maybe they will be digital prints this time instead of the 'ole ink & roller prints like last time!.......... Does anyone know the validity of the FD-258 fingerprinting? I have heard it to be 15 mos. Quite frankly, I don't know!.... Link to comment
cosmiclobster
Looks like you got a break on the fee but made up for it with inconveince! It is nice to see that they are requesting digital fingerprints though. Now if they could just figure out a way to get the fingerprints of the bad guys that they really need fingerprints of, that would be something. I wonder if every convict in prison has their digital fingerprints on file somewhere. . . . Link to comment
tywy_99
I think CIS lost my wife's FD-258. I had to schedule another appointment for her for June 28 in Norfolk. One good thing about it; they can do the biometrics for her EAD renewal the same time when they do her fingerprints again for AOS. Mick
Li has been fingerprinted three times since coming to the States. Once in Birmingham, once in Atlanta and once in Memphis. They charged us a fee each time. Link to comment
