Seems they issue pink slip to replace white and yellow to replace blue?

My lady got pink slip, but VO told her she was approved and will pick up visa on Sat.

 

I am confused...so i assume they issue pink instead of white now.

Maybe with the change in how they are sending the Visa back Via China Post

Things change there all the time so this info may be outdated. When Bing got her blue slip it was accompanied by a pink slip detailing what they wanted to overcome the denial.

my girl said on the pink paper, it states visa has been approved and will be picked up on Sat.

 

So i am quite sure she got approved

 

Also, she told me people got denied were taking yellow slips.

Is this pick up at the post office or the Consulate?

That would be two new things, pink and post.

Just comfirmed with some posts on 001.com, those got visa approved girls all got pink color slips. And this is the new change begaining on 4/28.

 

And other change is the visa pick-up date changes: if u live outside Cantoon, u need to wait several more days to pick up visa in the assigned post office. If u live in Cantoon, they will mail the visa package to u.

One has got to wonder about the process once again....now the person has to stay not just one more day, but three more days to pick up a visa? Very expensive, not just in time for those coming from far away, but for peoples jobs. The consulate says dont quit your job or make plans, but will create a process that requires that you do this. Disgusting and disgraceful.

I hope GZ knows what they're doing. I'm not sure I'd want to entrust visas and passports to China Post - no offense, postal workers, but things seems to get lost more easily in China's mails. Maybe they're using EMS.

I had understood that you do not give a gift wrapped in white to a chinese person, since it symbolized death... And nobody had taken offense to the 'white slip' present..

 

So, I like the change to pink... more lady like...
