tracking your case

Is there a way to track the progress of your case? I originally used the USCIS site, but it has not been updated since my case was forwarded to NVC. I get the feeling others are following their case past this stage (a recent discussion of what "touched" means made me wonder why I'd never seen that word). Should I be using a different site or just stick with e-mailing Guangzhou?

not aware of any way to track once it gets to GZ, other than lame GZ email. sometimes the DOS phone number in DC can give a little advanced notice of an interview date, i am informed.

The only other thing you can do is call The Department Of State(DOS) 1-202-663-1225 push the right buttons until you get a human, be prepared to give them your GUZ number SO's name and birthdate, they can give you any information that Guangzhou has input into the computer.

yes, call the DOS once a week if you want. But your P3 has only "aged" a month so far. It will be another 2 or 3 months until anything happens.

 

Don't mean to bum you out, but look at the timelines of all those that went before you.
