On step 8 of scheduling the pickup for Citic bank, using the travel docs website... When I'm entering the ID number sent to me from Guangzhou after our i-130, the website pops up with a message saying "The Case ID that you have entered cannot be found" I emailed the support at usatraveldocs dot com email address they leave for troubleshooting, and i got a semi-automated reply back. It appears they tried to do something - "We understand that you would like to schedule your interview appointment. Please note that your Case ID has been reactivated. Please type the Case ID in step 8 manually if needed, or refresh the web page in Step 8 of the scheduling procedures." However when trying again, I still get the same stinkin' ole error. Whatever they did didn't work. HOW on earth did everybody else get past this whole ID case number problem when scheduling a pickup with Citic? Not going to say "nightmare" just yet but right now it's definitely more like a pain in the neck... ---------------------------------------------- *edit* I noticed that on the left side of the screen, it says "First Available Appointment Is Tuesday October 10, 2017. " Does that mean I have to wait until that date, until I can schedule the passport/ DS-260/ passport copies/ 2 photos/ cover letter package pickup?

I'm about to submit our DS 260. My meaning is that we'll need to fly to Guangzhou for the interview, if all goes well and the visa is issued, how will we fly back to our current city, if the office keeps the passport? Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

I am a foreign, non-Chinese, petitioner and therefore I have a few questions related to my passport. Any clarifications would be a lot of help! a. If I am to leave my passport at the GZ Consulate after the interview, how am I expected to return to Beijing? b. If all goes well at the interview, can I expect to receive the passport back in Beijing within 1 week, or could it take longer? c. I realize that at times the interview is concluded with a condition, where the petitioner is required to provide further documents. In these cases is the petitioner still required to leave his/her passport or can he/her send it after providing the additional documents and receiving final approval from the Consulate? d. If I'm in need of my passport after the interview, is it an option to simply choose to take it with me and send it over to them at a later date or is that not up to the petitioner to decide? Another question on an entirely different subject- is the petitioner allowed to be in the US during the time span leading up to the interview? Sorry about all the questions. Anyone that could possibly shed some light, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
