Hello Eric, You will need the supplement filed along with I-485... I am not sure in your area, but in NY(the local INS) they have their own rules... so My husband and I went down to the INS and obtain the correct forms and etc... on one of the sheet, they give the 1-800 number to call for doctors for medical exam. of course your wife does not need one, but vaccination. When you go to the doctors for vaccination, your wife will took at lease two-shots and then the doc. will give you a copy, a sealed envelope with another copy of the filled vaccination form address to INS... Check with your local INS or the INS where you filled your I-485 first, cause everywhere could be different... Good luck Dawn

Hello Guys, This is Dawn. It's been a long time I haven't talked to you guys... How are your lives? Me, not much, my LG(was my GG :)now is looking for a job, however, his EAD is not here yet, so basically he does not have much choice, does he? We filled out the AOS Application not so long ago. Just a reminder to the new comers: You do need a vaccine supplement from where you have you medical checked in China. Otherwise, you need to go to the one of the designated doctors here in the US to have your vaccinations done. I am not sure why I have not seen any info. about this posted either on 001 or here... but I guess in NY, things are more difficult. I will post more info. how to obtain Non-Driver licence ID later also, because right now it is so difficult to obtain one photo id after 9-11. you can always email me: dawnqiu@yahoo.com. Also, Here is our time line...(Just personal guessing... how to determine if u can get ur visa on ur interview day? it is mainly by when does GZ start ur background/name check) P1: April 02, 2002 P2: May 14, 2002 P3: July 29, 2002 Mail back P3: Aug. 6, 2002 Name Check: Aug. 16, 2002 P4: Nov. 16, 2002 Interview: Dec. 12, 2002 Hope this help... Well I called DOS on Dec. 06, 2002. His case was still pending... when I called yesterday (Dec. 11, 2002) His case was somewhat approved... So, actually it took almost 4 months to finished his background check.... Good luck to u all guys... Dawn

Hello all, My GG and I are still in shock right now and could not believe that we had the visa at the same day. My GG went to interview today at 8:30am. He walked into the consulate without me... Well, I had to wait for him with his parents outside until around 10:45am... he walked out with a little smile and told me that the case is approved and the officer told him to come back the same day to pick up his visa... (he then kissed me, of course)... And FYI, the officer is with slight bole headed white guy. He is very nice(according to my GG) and also I called last night before his interview to DOS... A very nice guy told me that there is a note on our case that says something that he cannot quite interprete to me what it means, but he assured me to be optimistic about his case and go for the interview. From his words I then had a very strong idea that his name check is done. Well, I wish you guys all the luck with my heart... I know what you are going through and I really think that give GZ the benefit of the doubt... They really are trying to solve the problem... Hello guys, I am applying my guy over here in the US. Because he is going to have his interview on next Thursday. I called DOS today to just ask his Background check status. I called twice. First time a guy answered me stating that his case still pending and told me to call back on mid next week. The next time a lady answered. She asked me which country he was in. When i told her he's in China. She immediately told me to called back next Wednesday. ... Well just some updates to you guys... i am thinking there might be a good news coming on next week... let's pray for the miracle Dawn
