Here was my story with my husband who's an USC:

May 2011 I was divorced and hold my 4-year-old son's custody. We moved to Shanghai and I started to work as a freelancer there as well as a single mom.

June 2012 We were matched on Eharmony based on our Christian belief and hobbies. We got to know each other gradually.

October 2012 I was granted a B2 visa.

November 2012 We were virtually engaged and decided to have wedding at the end of January 10 days after my arrival since we didn't want to be tempted and wish we will have a godly family.

January 16, 2013 I arrived in US for the first time and was able to meet him in person.

January 26, 2013 We were married.

March 19, 2013 I returned to China and started to prepare all documents to apply spouse visa.

August 2, 2013 Our priority date of applying spouse visa.

October 27, 2014 We will have our visa interview.
