  1. I have a friend who passed the interview on July7, but has not got the actual visa yet? Any experience on how long it's taking recently? Thanks,
  2. Hey Bob, Great News!! Let us know when you get back to Colorado, we will be coming that way in the future and make it a point to stop by.... Ray and Qing
  3. Any recent reports on the pink to stamp timeframe? We are waiting in GUZ now. I've seen reports of two days to two weeks....?
  4. Here is how in went down: VO was African American man, very nice. Asked for I-134, and was given it, plus a few other "kitchen sink" documents that we had prepared. He look at them all. Only one question was asked - We had a stack of email and MSN chat records, the VO pulled one email, and ask my wife if she had written it.... she responded "yes"..... the VO then asked her to explain what the email said. (the interview started in English, but was finished in Chinese). Wife explained what the email said.... VO said "very good, you passed" I just about died from anxiety while waiting, but when wife came out with a big smile, all the worry vanished!! Thanks to everyone that answered questions and offered advice!! Good luck to everyone still waiting.
  5. Question on the I 134.... If your income is well above the guidelines, I have read that you don't need to show other information like: personal property; stocks; life insurance; cash on hand; real estate; etc. If this is the case, what do you put in those spaces? nothing, n/a, or what? Thanks for any response. Good luck to all!!
  6. I guess everyone knows about being able to track status of P4, by using the EMS label number and EMS website?
  7. For the I-134 (K3) Does one need to show 3 years tax records, or just the most recent year 2007? I recall seeing somewhere that now only the most recent year is needed? Thanks for any reply!
  8. Does anyone have an estimate of time between P3 return and interview date? I understand it's difficult to be exact, but what's a good guesstimate? .......... I hope that more P3 come through....... I think soon!!! Thanks to everyone who take their time to keep the information flowing!!
  9. That is really great news; you have waited a long time for P-3 !! B) The 15th was Saturday, have you been checking each day, if so, was there some lag time in the computer updating the info for you ?? I just called this a.m. and still not opened. The very nice woman, said they were still getting some November cases opened (date file exited the NVC) mixed in with the December dated ones, and yours shows this to be true. You still might be lucky enough yet, to get a May interview date ?? Yes, I have been waiting a long time. I actually started the process in April 07, they held my I-130 for a month before opening it. I never received the NOA 1!!, it's been a difficult journey. Last time I called DOS was on the 14th, and got the "loaded but not opened" message. I made 3 attempts to call yesterday, but the wait time was too long, so called early this morning and got the good news. My birthday was on the 16th, so I'll take this as the best present anyone could have given!! Best of luck to you! We may be in GUZ around the same time! OK, you checked on Friday with no change, they opened file/updated computer on Saturday (which shows they are working on the weekend) and you missed both Mon/Tue checking with DOS and just found out today, Wed !! At least this indicates there may not be much of a lag time between action and update of the DOS computer !!?? I am continuing to check in with DOS each day, at this stage of the process. Get that P-3 mailed fast !! The P-4's seem to be taking about 35 to 40 + days to generate. B) I think you are right on the "not much lag time" between action and update of DOS computers. So for me it was about 105 days between NVC out and P3. (I received the NVC out letter on 11/23, but it said that they would mail my documents "within a week", so I started counting from the 30th).

  12. How important is having "proof of residency" for an ex spouse? After divorce we did not communicate. I don't know where she lives... Should I track her down and get some proof of her address? Thanks for any reply.
