Has anyone flown out of CHina to canada using their chinese passport and us green card? I know a visa is not needed but does the Chinese Exit Police know this?

visa journey web site. they have sample forms that you can use to fill out your forms. It is very easy to do the paperwork yourself.

Baba passed his B2 visa last week. Now my only concern is him getting thru immigration without speaking any English. I thought about giving him a letter to give to the officer. Any suggestions?

the visa office in Shanghai is remote from the Consulate. the Visa office and ACS are on top of West gate mall. Kinda strange walking thru part of the first floor of the mall to get to the elevators to take you to the Visa office.

Hopefully, When we get back from this trip we will make a trip to the Consulate and see what they say.

The saga continues.
We need to make an Emergency trip to China for a family emergency. I talk to my usual visa agency in the states, they said to send them copies of a few of my daughters items as the consulate has changed policies recently. The Chinese Consulate will not give our daughter a visa in her US passport because she has a Chinese passport, which the Chinese government forced us to get to allow her to leave the country.
They said just use her Chinese passport to travel. I responded that will be fine for getting her into China but what about the Exit police when we try to leave on her US passport with no entry in the computer system. thank-god the Shanghai US Consulate gave her a 1 year multi entry visa. We have until Dec 17th until it runs out. I just hope the Emergency is resolved by then.
I guess the first thing we do when we get back from this trip is to shlep to NYC and start the year long process to renounce our daughters Chinese citizenship.

I should have a 10 year visa by Tuesday. Will let you know how it works out.

3, I did not think of that option, I can include my passport as well showing a few entry exit stamps at same time. I can also show the babies passport also with stamps

Sorry that I have been away for a while. Been crazy busy at work, bought a new house with an apartment. Wife went all glassy eyed when she figured out renting out the apartment meant free house, lol. So have been remodeling the apartment so we can rent it out. Anyway, Quick evidence check please

With the switch to the new house I am thinking of buying a cable modem instead of renting one from Time Warner. I am torn between an all in one or a separate modem with a WiFi router.
Some research shows that all in ones can be slower on the WiFi side than a dedicated modem with a separate router. Any input form people that have their own modems?

We had 3 rooms in the new house measured for flooring install thru Home Depot. When we were ordering at the store today she said several things that make me think she recently had a head injury.
She said instead of us painting the 1/4 round molding why not just buy it already painted to match the floor. She also said that we should pay for the flooring install, and have them install the molding as well.
Has anyone of your wives started acting in this weird and unexplainable manner?

See if you can get your hands on Cipro, They give that to is at work when we travel to places where we might get sick. 2 days and its cured. Only thing is once yo get back to the states eat yogurt as te medicine will clean out your intestines of good and bad bacteria.

I would plan on getting your son his Chinese passport when you go to your wife's Hokou city. When it arrives you will have to file for a visa with the US consulate for a a visa in his Chinese passport. It will be an easy process as far as the US consulate goes. Just a pain waiting for the babies Chinese passport to arrive. Once our daughters passport arrived we filed and had the US visa in her Chinese passport within 10 day's.

Much more secure than the old arrangement. No chance at all of inter mingling with the IV people.
On the up side. It was the most beautiful and clean bathroom that in my 11 months in China.

2 floors ACS is on the second floor, you can see the interview area thru a glass wall before you go up the elevator but cannot enter. there is a separate bathroom for ACS.

Even in NY the market is hot. We missed out on 2 houses that were listed and were under contract in a week. Hopefully our offer we made today goes thru. I doubt it though, A Chinese woman thru a fit and we put a low price in.

I could live in PA and work in NY.
Might have to look into that when we go house hunting in a few weeks. I look forward to Blue skies and fresh air, eating a salad without worrying about the possible after effects.

Of course you were wrong. You should of had the scale set for pounds and not Kilo's.
And did you make the mistake of telling her it was to heavy before you used the fork truck to place it on the scale? That also would of been a mistake.

The I-131 can be used multiple times. If you get an officer at the POE that is having a bad day with the 7 month stay they can give you trouble. With the I-131 you should not have any problems. The I-131 is a little passport style book. They stamp each box when you enter with the time out of country. I also keep a copy of my work contract with us when we entered in case they had any issues.

No connection, Flying into Toronto and we are driving the 3 hours from there to get home.
