  1. Hi jimu07, I have received my instruction packet on Oct. 14. What about yours? I have sent the P3 back and am now waiting for the interview appointment packet. If you haven't heard anything yet, you could call DOS to check if GUZ has received your file, if they do, you can send your Packet 3 to them first. That will be helpful.

  2. No a transcript is a computer generated printout from the IRS, there is no signature on it. Whhhat must have been problem was misunderstood, when using a copy of a return it must include all supporting documents showing where the amounts shown on the return came from. Again by signing the I-134 the sponsor is swaring the transcripts or return is acurate. Thanks Dan, as always for your kind help. I have just made things clear with my sweetheart. And I now understand more about the differences between these two concepts.
  3. Happy for you! Great trick learned! Thanks
  4. Congrats! Wish you a happy life together!
  5. Please understand that the sisters on 001 are mostly not familiar with "transcripts" or 1040(I don't either). If anything goes wrong with one of them, they will be all alert(me too). I believe they(including your wife) just want to make sure everything is correctly prepared for the interview because they want to reunite with their sweethearts soon. So do the transcripts need to be signed?
  6. I think you will have a better chance to find a companion for your wife if she goes to the Chinese Forums:http://usa.bbs.net/ and posts a new thread asking the same question. Good luck!
  7. Thanks a lot Dan, as always. However, I already put my English name on the G-325A. I think I should be consistent. Also My English name appears in all the correspondence with my fiance. It's also good to show them that it's me.
  8. That's a VERY helpful reply. Thank you, Kyle. I DO appreciate your kind input! I think I will go ahead and put my English name in the box then!
  9. Hello All, Thank you all in advance for dropping by. I am wondering if you or your wife/fiancee put their chosen English names, which are different from the Pinyin of their Chinese names, in answering Qustion #2 when they filled in DS230 Part 1? I did put my English name together with my Chinese family name in the box of "All Other Names Used" on the G-325A when we were filing the I-129F petition because I always use the English name in all my communication with my fiance. He knows the Pinyin of my Chinese name, but usually calls my English name. Some people say any other names that don't appear on any legal documents shoudn't be put in the DS 230 Part 1 in case the consulate will prolong the background check on the applicant. So I wonder if I should put it in the form just like I did on the G-325A. What did you guys do? Thanks for your attention!
  10. Hi Jimu, Are you going through the K or CR visa process? We also got a letter from NVC stating that our case was sent to GUZ around the same time as yours. I think if you are petitioning for K1 or CR1 visa, it means you will have to wait for GUZ to send you the intruction packet,a.k.a. P3, which is what we are doing right now. Patience is much needed on our part. I hope all is well with you too.
  11. Congratulations to you all! I heard a lot of people passed their interviews today. It's a big day!
  12. WOW, that could be a pain in the ass then! Thank you Randy. I start to realize how silly the question is. Maybe if one was needed, USCIS would have asked him to provide before our petition was even approved. Thanks again! You guys rock!
  13. Thanks Dan and David for your suggestions! Your kindness is fully appreciated!! It's true that the problem was just the I-129F was not completely filled out and USCIS just requested him to fill it out completely. I do hope it's not an issue for my interview since I don't really want to get a blue slip and wait for a few months more. Now I am planning to write the consulate an email after we get P3 to make sure my fiance doesn't have to provide the No Criminal Record Ceritificate. On the flip side, I wonder if I am making a big deal out of this. But it never hurts to ask, does it?
  14. Hello everyone, We are now still waiting for P3. When we were waiting for our P2, USCIS sent my fiance a RFE because he didn't complete the Part C in I-129F(regarding criminal history). My fiance completed the whole I-129F again and sent it back immediately. Before long, we got our P2. Now as I am preparing for my interview, I heard of stories about people getting blue slips because their fiances didn't complete the Part C in I-129F. And some people suggested that their fiances in the U.S. should provide Notarized No Criminal Record Certificate. Is it true? Is it necessary for my fiance to get his Notarized No Criminal Record Certificate in the U.S. and send it to me for my interview? If so, do you know how long it will take him to get one? I am so confused. I will surely appreciate any help and suggestions. Thank you in advance!
  15. Good idea! I can print out our chat logs from this side. That helps reduce some weight of sending the package. Thanks again! I can see you are about to receive P3. I hope everything goes well with your application and you will be together soon!
  16. Items in III and IV are good. Thank you very much again, Ryan H. I appreciate your reply! So you don't think there is anything else we should add to the list?
  17. Hello again! I hope you all are having a great day. I made a list of the documents that my fiance is going to send me for my interview. Would you please tell me what else we should include apart from those in the list? Thank you again for your attention. I. Copies of Certificates: 1. Copy of his Birth certificate (front and back); 2. Train tickets or any other tickets from his trips; 6. A copy of my parents¡¯ letter to his parents. III. Original letters of statement and explanation: 1. Write an original letter affirming his desire to marry me within 90 days after my arrival and his continued support of the K-1 Visa; 2. 18. dnoblett, thank you for your kindness. We really appreciate your input!
  19. Hello All, We need advice again. 1. In Form I-134 Affidavit of Support for K1, Question 11 says "I (intend) (do not intend) to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3". Should we choose "intend" or "do not intend"? What did you do when you filled in the Form? 2. Do we need to have the Form I-134 notarized in bank or something? Thanks for your attention. And any help will be greatly appreciated!
  20. Thank you again, dnoblett, so much for your reply! Sending my most sincere appreciation. Do have a wonderful day!
  21. Good day, ladies and gentlemen We have another question when we are trying to fill I-129F. Just like warpedbored wrote in his topic "Newbie links":"...the only foolish question is the one you didn't ask", I was encouraged by the line to post this question here. Again, thanks for those who reply to me in advance. Question #11 asks: Have you ever filed for this or any other alien fiance(e) or husband/wife before? My fiance did help his ex-wife, who's from Romania, with her green card before. So should he answer yes to this question? Your help will be greatly appreciated! Warmest regards.
  22. I had the same curiosity. Gentlemen, curiosity killed the cat. However, thanks for your concerns and input all the same. B)
  23. Thanks a lot, dnoblett. I appreciate your detailed answer. I hope you have another great day with Yu.
  24. No. A copy of your passport is not needed at this time. Everything else in your list is good. I would say for #5 and #6, the more you include, the better. Best wishes to you also! Thank you very much, Ryan H, and congrats on your wedding! A lifelong happy marriage to you!
