Wow, I posted a little bit too soon. She picked up the visa today, but it it appears to only be for less than 2 months because her medical exam expires then. She has to hurry to leave China now, lol.

Hello all. My fiancee was recently approved for a K-1 visa, but she has been waiting for the pickup since last week. I was wondering if you think Christmas has anything to do with the extended wait... Christmas is this week (Saturday), which means the Guangzhou consulate won't work on Monday and so my fiancee will need to wait another week (at least). I wonder when we can expect to pick up the visa. Does anyone have experiences with this?
