This is the waybill number for cases mailed by NVC on June 27th, 9412508755. It appears that this particular mailing was held by customs on July 3.

Wolf, I have no info or DHL waybill number for shipments of June 12th but if I hear something I will pass it on.

I am overjoyed at this news.  However, I am not certain your sources are entirely accurate.   A DHL tracking report I just ran shows the May 9 shipment still at DHL's Guangzhou facility pursuant to a "clearance delay."  How confident are you in your source of this information?

The information I have is that DHL will update there records once GZ gets all ten shipments successively. This should be next week sometime. GZ picked up 4 of the shipments yesterday which includes the May 9th mailing. It was said that it only took two days to go through the formalities to clear this mail when the May 9th shipment has been held up for over two months.

I have received information pertaining only to the May 9th mailing. I dont have any details concerning the other delayed shipments but I have heard of mailing dates of June 12th and June 27th. These cases may or may not be involved.

I feel that the information I have posted is reliable.

I have learned that the NVC mailing of May 9th has been cleared by customs and was picked up by GZ consulate yesterday along with three other mailings that were held. I heard that customs were holding 10 mailings in all and they should be cleared soon!

the I-134 intructions state for proof of income, a letter on company letterhead showing present salary and date of empoyment. It only ask for the latest year of taxes(IRS 1040) but I have heard the last three years is a safe way to go. The w-2's would also serve as additional proof of income. The instructions say nothing about notarizing any evidence but it wouldn't hurt to take that extra step. Also, according to the instructions, this evidence needs to be submitted in duplicate and, of course, the I-134 must be signed and sealed under oath, (Notary Public).

A newbie here. I am only wondering why I havent found this cool site before now!

 

I have filed a petition for k3/4 and for those of you have gone before me I would like to ask a few questions, if I may.

 

I-134(Affidavit of Support): Can I make copies of my 1040 or do I need to

get photcopies from the IRS? How many prior years will I need and do

they need to be notarized? Do I need an I-134 for the child also? I am thinking of making duplicate sets, one to mail

to my wife and the other to take with me to GZ. Is this a safe and sound

approach? Any information about the I-134 will be much appreciated.

 

I know that information is a valuable commodity and in turn I will share any useful information that I may come across.

My case is one of many sitting on CAN customs floor from the NVC mailing of May 9th. I have heard that there are a few bags of mail awaitng clearance , one being NVC mailing of June 1st. I have no confirmation of this but just in case anyone is wondering, that might be the problem.
