All, I've been lurking for a while and thought it was time to post. My fiancée’s name check cleared on 12/06. An EMS letter was sent on 12/10. Background Dates 1st NOA 03/15/02 2nd NOA 04/08/02 Packet 3 07/16/02 Interview 11/27/02 Has anyone who left his or her passport after the interview received a letter yet? When DoS read the remarks there were 3 letters 'VPL'. Anyone know what the letters stand for? My guess is Visa Passport Letter. It's probably wishful thinking on my part that they will send her visa and save a trip to Guangzhou. I'll let you know when she gets the letter. Mike
