What a great deal. Free beer!
For the last several weeks, Tsingtao has launched a promotion for free beer. Being a beer lover, this seems like a pretty good deal. If you get the winning bottle cap, just turn it in and get another free bottle. Chances are pretty good at getting a winner too. I've already had one 12-bottle case that had 9-winners, and I'm now working on another that has 7-winners. China is getting better all the time.

Can't wait for The Fins to use that single wing "Wildcat" formation against The Bills.
Bring it on, Then we all can watch a bunch of fish panic and drown.

Nothing against American women or Caucasian women in general, I just prefer Asian and am fascinated with their culture. After all, it's my culture too.

4-0, and St Louis is win less!
Did you see Sunday's 4th quarter blowout in Saint Louis?
I was out having Chinese dinner with Yu, the restaurant had the game on, I saw the interception/touch-down in the 4th quarter.

Well, here we have another holiday coming up in China next week, and that's right on the heels to the long Moon Day weekend we just had. This upcoming week, is the Chinese National Holiday, where most every business closes for the week; excluding retail business of course. To make up for it, most businesses have their people work this Saturday and Sunday. Not such a bad trade-off to get seven days in a row.
It seems that the US is one of the few countries in the world, that has a bit of a shortage on Holidays and long weekends.
NOW, this post is right on.

While we don't have the really long weekends in the US, we definitely have more public holidays than China.
In China they have a total of 9 days worth of holidays. We have more than that.
And if you hang in there long enough at most US jobs you get lots of vacation time...As a gummint worker with 21 years on the job I get 20 vacation days, 12 sick days, 2 personal days, 5 comp days and 9 holidays every year... Doesn't everybody???

One of these days I would like to take my wife and son to a Buffalo Bills game. My Son likes the Jaguars and my wife likes the Seahawks and the Patriots. It was a good time at my house for the past couple of weeks.

In a few years China will be way ahead of us. Maybe they are already. My wife says, America is in the dark ages and China has better technology.
You gotta be kidding ... specifics please ....
At the present moment our thinking is much like 1979 when Carter Administration dubbed our mentality as Malaise. We are seeing our banks and major investment companies in turmoil, The Big Three on the skids, We are bogged down in a war that should never have happened, We are seeing greed in America that is on its zenith, Our leadership in disaray. China is on the upswing economy wise. Americans love a winner. We have not had too much to cheer about for the last 6 years.
Amen brother!!

I'm not kidding. As for the specifics, you need to ask my wife. I hear about this issue on a daily basis.

Yahoo News just said, that their are 25 dead and 100,000 homes that are damaged or destroyed and has affected at least 600,000 residents.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know this topic was posted yesterday. I think I will be moving to Dish now.

For the last couple of weeks I have noticed at the bottom of the screen when I watch CCTV9 that said, "as of 08/25/2008 CCTV9 will no longer be broadcasted". So I called Directv and was assured that if I change my "package" I will keep CCTV9. Yesterday I called them to change my package and was told that Directv will no longer carry CCTV9 on any package. What Happened?
Now I am thinking of changing to Dish Network but I was reading all the horror stories people had with Dish. Also was looking into this Kylink TV which comes over the Internet.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks all

It's on CCTV 4 right now!
great, I don't have CCTV 4. I could always watch it on the Internet but I would rather watch it on TV. How long is the Closing Ceremony?
-
The closing Ceremony, will that be televised tonight or did I miss it all together?
