  1. Dear USCONGUZ, First of all I want to thank you for all your time and effort for reading our messages and responding them. It is really very helpful. I¡¯m applying for a K1 visa. I have a question about the notarized unmarriage certificate. I wonder if a notarized unmarriage declaration is acceptable for GUZ VO because the unmarriage certificate I got from our notary office is incomplete. On the document it says that from 1999 to 2006, no record of marriage registration was found at this Bureau of Civil Affairs. To make things worse, the footnote says that the certificate is not to certify the applicant¡¯s single status, but merely to certify that the applicant has not registered a marriage to anybody at this marriage registry office. Prior to 1999, I was a university student so it is difficult to a certificate like this. So could you please provide an answer whether a notarized unmarriage declaration taken at the notarization office is acceptable with you? Thank you!
