  1. Very nice, thanks. This is becoming more and more anoying. It seems that GUZ has stoped receiving from NVC and sent out P3 in the past couple of months. Has any one received P3 lately or confirmed by GUZ of receiving from NVC?
  2. I received the same letter from NVC dated 8/10. Yes, it's out of NVC on 8/10. However GUZ has not received it yet. I called GUZ consulate last week, and was told it takes 60-120 days for the approved i-129f go to from nvc to guz!
  3. I have been tracking the dhl package for a couple of months. It was delivered on 10/8 however the receipient (GUZ consulate?) refused to take it. What is going on? Is it because it's on Sunday and no one there in the consulate to receive it? Track results detail Tracking results detail for 9162410460 Help Tracking summary Current Status With delivery courier. 4. I just called DOS about my status. A lady picked up the phone after waiting on line for 5 minutes. She took my case#, came back and told me she couldn't see my case in the computer. She asked me what i was told about my petition last time. I answered nvc told me they sent my petition to GUZ on the 10th of Aug. She said "Hm, strange, i couldn't see it here". Then she put me on hold, came back in a couple of minutes, and told me NVC is going to send duplicates to GUZ, and give 2 or 3 weeks for GUZ to receive it. "Duplicates"? does it sound right? where is the "originals"? Has anyone heard of this before?
  5. I think the 80-20 rule applies here. VO has gone through 80% of his/her decision making process prior to calling up an applicant, and it's a matter of sanity-checking on his/her decision when VO actually meets the applicant. There are 20% of the chance that VO might overturn his/her predetermined decision in the interview.
  6. Ok, i got the point. It's actually impossible to track your package precisely via dhl. You wouldn't know which one of the many packages are yours, and you couldn't tell when GUZ actually picked yours up. The only thing we can do is to sit back and pray.
  7. I saw some CFL members posted the date when GUZ picked DHL delivery. How did you tell for sure exactly when GUZ picked it up, and what is picked up is exactly your petition? From my experience, i don't know exactly on which date NVC sent the package in the first place. All i was told is that it was sent on the week of 8/10. Is it 8/8 or 8/8 or 8/10? I don't know. Secondly, there might be multiple packages sent out on the same date from nvc to guz which were either picked at different dates or have been stuck at the customs waiting to be picked. Without definite information on when it was sent and on which dhl package contain your petition, how do tell? I have been tracking DHL packages sent on 8/9 and 8/10 from NVC to Guangzhou China. All but two have been delivered in the second week. The remaining two (number 9162410460 and 9162447221) have been "at Gateway" in China since 8/21. After i called DHL on the status of the two, they updated status to "Please contact DHL". I'm not sure if but only guess mine is among the two since mine was leaving nvc on the week of 8/10 and guz has not have my petition yet. It's interesting to note that all delivered packages weights 1 lb while the two "stucked" weight 5lbs and 7lbs each. Does the weight of the package mean anything?
  8. Juette, how did you figure out your paperwork is in Guangzhou? by phone or by email? Mine was leaving nvc on 8/10, about the same time as yours. GUZ didn't have it yet as of last week when i inquried by email. Thanks.
