So we ordered my new visa (at two years for 400RMB each), bought some grapes for wine-making (take it easy on the sugar, and NO ONIONS this time, PLEASE), at they opened a new RT-Mart here in Yulin just a few blocks away
Which did you use to place your order:
A) phone call and credit card or
B) internet and Chinese similar to PayPal ? ? ?

I read its dog meat day in Yulin.
I think your steak run to Nanning will call into question the source of Yulin dog meat, if you are caught.
Dog meat vedors have a repution to keep so: Please be careful.
I guess you don't sell meat unless you have a permit or dog license.....

poolas like that bring to mind just one thing:
Late night skinny dipping.
What's your read on that considering the "puritanical" Chinese?
-
Actually, it seems like a pretty good book.
Though I can't read it, I can understand it!!!!
In America, god forbid anybody young knows what happens (except by watching dogs in the school parking lot..)

I'll know more later this year when I go to the consulate to apply for my own benefits.
Did your wife live in good ol' USA for at least 5 years?
She got a Green Card and gave it up? My wife is not happy with that prospect.

Walk around the lake at twilight, near the towers.
Drink some tea in one of the two towers.
Take a boat ride at night.

pack extra bottles....
we somehow forgot them in one place or another and limped home on one. . .
there is no easy way to get some bottles or nipples in China.

Of course it NEVER happens to me, either, but if it does happen to YOU again - highlight (select) the text and hit 'CTRL C' to copy. Then you can try again and just hit 'CTRL V' to paste the text into a new post. Try refresh and/or back page to see if it can recover.
There's a glitch in the board software such that a post by a member whose name includes a capital 'M' can be left dangling with no time-out.
Doesn't happen to the rest of us.
happens to me.....

Ok I got the perfect explanation for this!! Here it goes!
He had deep venous thrombosis in his testicle area and when she squeezed his manhood, a embolism occurred and got stuck in his heart leading to death.
If one has this condition are the 'male parts' large...?
Just asking cause maybe I have this condition and should be more careful....
(these conversations should somehow become concerned with . . .ya know. . . .size.....IMO)

You know there is nothing I like more than watching my wife try on her new set of clothes or shoes.
She looks damn good in them.
It's a process where I like what she is wearing, bring on the next thing and this requires removal of the old things.
yes . . .. . .. ...all. mmmm hmmmm . . . all sweetie!
....those new shoes are best appreciated without the distraction of those old clothes.
and walk around a little bit too.....
I've learned to tough out those expendatures.....

I'm sending off our I-751 petition the first of April to Vermont...hope they are not as backed up.
Sorry to tell you, but we submitted ours to Vermont in July and are still waiting 8 months later. Just a few months after we get the 10 year GC she'll be able to apply for citizenship.
Sorry to confirm, BUT....we also submitted ours to Vermont in July....sitll waiting . . . . ...

I get the:
'You can not understand.'
I don't know if it's because:
I'm to stupid, or
I'm to white (not enough Chinese), or
she does not want to waste the time to tell me.
my reply: 'Maybe you can not understand that I understand' creates humorous confusion and all is good!
-
Ours was sent in July. We did receive a NOA to extend the expiration date one year, but who cares a "large hairless tail rodent¡¯s solids excretion orifice" about that?

From just a quick search, it seems easier to get flights from Guangzhou to Nanning than from Hong Kong You could always land in HK, then transit up to Guangzhou then take China Southern to Nanning.
That would also be my recommendation. Take the HK light rail train to Shenzhen, then take the high-speed train to Guangzhou. Then take a cab or airport bus to the airport. Should take about 3 hours, depending on connections.
where is the Customs for entry into China when you take the rail out of HK?
what about return, where is customs for HK?

Be careful of the travel month. August may be more, May and September less.
You will find that stateside sites may be limited and of course need a round trip.

I bought a nice cheescake, used a toothpick to draw a moon and dumb dragon (because I am not good at drawing good dragons) and called it a mooncake.
My wife loved it and we also spent time on the "rug"!

Those mountain stalagmites are made of limestone?
I always wonder what causes the limstone to form in those "pillar" shapes. No ridges, no sign of uplift; nothing tectonic. No river to carve them. No ancient ice flow. No volcano.
Did they pop up? Were they erroded down?
