what form do I need to file for my wife's 10 yr card
and how much is the fee?
hers will expire 11/01/2012
Is there any thing else I need to send with form
like new passport pictures?
-
Well my time in Pensacola with the Navy is going to be over shortly and I¡¯ll get shipped off to another location. Where I will go, now that is the question. I will most likely be shipped to Whidbey Island but I¡¯m doing everything in my power to avoid that. And by everything I mean applying for any other job but that place. I just sent in a request to go to Tinker AFB in Oklahoma with VQ-4. Doubt it will happen but keep your fingers crossed.
Anyone here from Oklahoma City?
How is it over there?
I live 40 miles west of tulsa
Oklahoma is a great place to live. I was born and raised here lived here all my life
Except the 2 years I just spent in China april 6th 2010 I brought home a wife and daughter.
I have a friend that works at tinker.
If you would like I can give you his email address.

READ IT YOURSELF TOO.

THIS IS AN EMAIL I SENT TO THE USICS GOVERNMENT OFFICE

We went to him to have our vaccinations transcribed and he refused
to do that without giving a full medical exam $150.00 each for wife & daughter.
Which they just had one March 25th 2010 in china at the US Embassy's request
before issuing our visas March 26th 2010.
I am a member of two different web sites that help people with K1, K2 and K3 & K4 applications
all the way through citizenship.
This problem with civil surgeons ripping people off with false reasons is a nation wide problem now.
they are taking advantage of people that don't know their rights.
Some one needs to put a control on this problem.

What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?
If you were admitted as a:

Vaccination chart and PART 5, the Civil surgeon¡¯s certification, of form I-693

I am in this process right now. I live in Tulsa Ok. there is only one
sergeon general here I went to him and he refused to sign off vaccinations with out a full exam of
$150.00 each even when my wife and daughter just had a full exam in china July 28th 2009 and March 25th 2010 at the hospital in Guangzhou the embassy told us to go to. Our POE was San Fransisco
April 6th.
There is no reason why we should have 3 full medical exams in less than one year.
I have a friend in Sacramento Ca. he only had to pay $25.00 for sign off of shots.
I have looked up doctors in Oklahoma and there is 2 more in Oklahoma city and one in Moore so I am going to contact them and see what they offer.

2 weeks ago they tell us on the phone our appointment to give dna samples is Jan. 20th now today we get this email.
so after waiting for a K1 visa 17 months now we still have no idea when we will get through all this torture they call service.
today is 58 days they got our kit from Fedex and we are still waiting for appointment. then I was told from another member here that went through the dna test. they did get their visa 3 months after dna test.
so it looks like we are going to hitting the 2 year mark to get our K1 visa.
way to go Guangzhou for your fine speedy service.
You still have the slowest service in the world ! ! !
You win hands down.
------------------------------------
Now mind you this sample giving process mounts to sticking a Qtip in your mouth and they are back logged over 2 months now HA HA HA HA
At 2 minutes a day per person to stick a Qtip in your mouth
in 1 day 1 doctor can do 240 people. now that means they are back logged 13,920 people for DNA test for 58 days. Very hard to BELIEVE RIGHT ! ! !
--------------------
our email today
This is to confirm that our office received and processed your DNA test kit on November 13, 2009. Your case is now on the waiting list to be scheduled for DNA sample collection. Please note that since we have high volume of DNA test requests awaiting in line, the DNA test will be scheduled in the order of the kits being received. As of to date we are scheduling appointments for test kits received on or before November 3, 2009. We will contact you by phone when your priority date is current.

U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou
NOW YOU CAN SEE WHY THEY NEED $200.00 MORE FOR YOUR 6 MINUTE INTERVIEW.
IT IS TO COVER THE TIME THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING !

12-24-09
My fiancee phoned guangzhou this morning
they received her dna kit 11-9-09
They told her she will get her appointment to give samples
1-20-2010
that means we can not get Helens visa before 4-20-2010
and this will make our record breaking service from Guangzhou
just 1 year 23 days to get a visa.
and
1 year 8 months 16 days in the system for a K1 & K2

Hi Forum
My wife had interview on Sep 10 for Form I-130. My wife did well and passed interview and proved our marriage. She does not need another interview unless requested. VO was a young man. Got a blue slip because lacking info on my taxes and my cosponsor tax records. NVC had approved all paperwork before they forwarded them to GUZ. So, I did not know I had a problem. I live on Soc Sec and SSI. I do not need to file income tax because of my low income. I had my social security statements included
at interview, but VO kept insisting on W2's, 1099's and 1040's. Not everyone files for income tax. All I can do is resubmit statements from SSA on amounts they paid me last 3 tax years. Hope this is not a catch 22 to prevent me qualifying as petitioner. GUZ totally ignored the fact my house is paid for. Technically I don't even need a cosponsor. According to application you can use assets in lieu of income.
Learned about needing a cosponsor from failed K-3 interview. GUZ insisted on income to qualify and not assets as stated on application. They make up their own rules. The good news I heard while waiting was that the big black woman VO that failed my wife for the K-3 is no longer there!!!
The other thing was they insisted on my cosponsor provide certified tax returns for last three years. This takes about two to three months wait for the IRS to process. Should be coming soon. They also wanted a statement by my cosponsor as to why he is willing to sponsor my wife.
I am changing my cosponsor. My original one took ill and lost his job. I hope it is OK to change your cosponsor? I hope my SSA papers are OK? I wonder why the blue slip says Ir1 visa instead of Cr1 visa? What is Ir1 visa? I hope I am not rambling on. I will be 73 next month. I married my wife in Aug 2007. This will be my third winter in N. China. After being a bachelor for 20 years, I am lucky to find true love at this stage of my life
Chris
The assets in liew of income===they will only accept like stocks and bonds for this I tried the same thing so had to get my daughter for cosponser.
update for DNA test I paid the $680.00 for the test and kit november 6th it was delivered to the emassy november 9th by Fedex and signed for now 33 days later we are still waiting for embassy to dig it out of their dead file and give us an appointment. this is not service it is
inhumain treatment beings today is 1 year 4 months & 7 days since I
filed for I-129f
by being retired I will have by the time we get to go home to oklahoma
spent over $6,570.00 just to get me visas to stay in china for 2 years and for 2 visas to usa plus the $2,020.00 for the AOS green cards when we do get to go home. This while no telling how many thousands of illegals crossed our southern border to get free ss cards and welfare
medical care at the same time we have to proove that your loved one is no threat to the USA.
Now I am thinking it would be much cheaper and less troble to just buy 2 air tickets to Mexico and be done with it.
-
Sorry to hear about the blue. Let's hope it's an easy overcome and not the hassle that Okie2 had to go through.
Phone call from consulate on Tuesday 17th told me we could get my fiancees visa at the time we go to give dna sample and daughter would have to wait until after the results were back in 4 months
the next day 18th they called and reversed their decision on that because if test showed relation no good Helen would considered a K1 fraud so now we have to wait for the 4 month process for both visas.
so we wait until March now. that will be 6 weeks short of me living in China for 2 years. I love it here.
I want to add the dna test for K2 visas at $680.00 would be a much
cheaper and more easy way to proove relationship than the over $1,000.00 I paid for all the translated notarized documents that are really useless wasted money now plus the trouble of getting pictures and what ever else you need gether.
-
As yan and I are trying to petition her son (age 16) this is something new to deal with. Thanks for the heads up.
Makes you wonder if an automatic DNA test will be required in the future for any child in this position.
YOU HIT THE NAIL SQUARE ON THE HEAD
we were ask for baby pictures after getting a blue we sent them in and the next week we got the letter for a dna test.
now here is what is really stupid to me you have to contact a USA dna lab on the embassy's list and pay $545.00 for the test plus $90.00
to send 2 QTIPS round trip to the embassy by fedex. you go to the embassy and pay them $14.00 each for them to stick the QTIP in your mouth and send it back to usa lab then 2 weeks later the lab will send results back to embassy another $45.00 fedex charge then they will contact you this whole process
takes 4 months and the only hold up any where as always is the embassy. It sure looks to me the embassy could find 58 cents to buy 500 QTIPS instead of costing you $90.00 for 2 of them.
like they always say
YOUR TAX DOLLARS HARD AT WORK FOR YOU

Hopefully, things will go smoother for you here on out.
This post was prompted an earlier post that USCONGUZ posted concerning the remarks of a past Afro American visa officer. All I'm saying is that they do notice comments, and I doubt (like anyone would) enjoy being flamed in a public forum (if that is how they interpret it).
http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?...80&hl=black
It is also possible that comments made in this thread (if interpreted as other than silly) could just encourage USCONGUZ to say "Adios" for good. Although I cannot speak for others, I do appreciate their comments and I benefit them as well.

what you say may be exactly right but if you have noticed i am not one of the 360 million people in America that just takes everything the government dishes out like a lamb. that is exactly what is wrong with the united states no one does anything to correct anything

Sorry to hear of your problems. I didn't have my problems with Guz. My problems came with USCIS, before going to Guz. I hope you will get a successful and speedy end.
Here is what we have to do now
contact a dna lab in usa pay them $545.00 for test
pay Fedex $45.00 to deliver 2 qtips
(embassy can't afford them they cost $0.58 for 500 of them in china)
we go on 14 hour train trip plus 1 night in hotel.
then pay embassy $14.00 each to stick qtip in their mouth and put them in prepaid Fedex envelope to usa (another $45.00 charge)
2 weeks at lab results sent back to embassy (another $45.00 charge)
this whole process just 4 months time if we are lucky.
total cost for DNA test $680.00 plus 2 trips to Guangzhou before we can pick up visa I guess??????
JUST 1 YEAR 8 MONTHS TO GET VISA.
REAL SPEEDY SERVICE
JUST $6,060.00 INVESTED FOR 2 VISAS FROM CHINA TO GO TO USA WHILE THE PEOPLE FROM THE SOUTH GET IN FREE WITH MED CARE AND SS CARDS
WHAT A BARGIN.
-
Pinning this.
Don't waste your time i just looked at price on cfare.com their cheapest fare one way is united airline one way $807.00 and $200.00 off is $607.00
if you go from Hong kong to san fransisco direct flight non stop on
Sinapore air lines
the price is $530.32 same price every day all year
I have checked every air line that flies from china to America and Sinapore beats all of them.
I live in tulsa ok. so we are going singapore to san fransisco then another booking to tulsa saves me over $1500.00 instead of air fare china to tulsa.
-
whats the deal with the DNA test?why do they request that?
my answer to your question is stupity on their part when they had all the translated notarized birt certs to proove they are mom and child.
HOW STUPID CAN STUPID GET???????????
THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO SEND TO THE EMBASSY FROM USA TO GET A DNA TEST.
A COTTON SWAB??
AND THEN MAKE A 14 HOUR TRAIN TRIP TO GET THEM TO STICK it in THEIR MOUTH for $14.64 each
AND THE EMBASSY CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY COTTON SWABS???????????????
I GUESS THEY ARE TO EXPENSIVE LIKE THE BLUE PAPER.
ACCEPTABLE SAMPLE TYPES
The most typical sample used for testing is a mouth (buccal) swab that is quickly and painlessly collected. In contrast to other laboratories, we are able to also use blood, tissue, and even bone or teeth as a source for DNA to be used in testing. Virtually any sample of biological origin can provide DNA that is suitable for testing.
this whole business of immagration is a diaster already crashed long ago and they don't know how to clean it up either.
really smart people here.
YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK FOR YOU.
-
If only the people who have received a non-bonafide relation were treated accordingly
no one is treated equal we got a blue slip for "not a valid relationship" was one of the reasons given to us
with me living with my fiancee for 17 months and giving them 3 police documents notarized registerations that I lived at the same address as my fiancee. we were given this ruling.
While at the same time most of you have come to china for a 1 or 2 week visit and only give them a hand full of emails and sail right on through interview with no problem. so where is this fare?
I think they do this just to show their boss they are doing a good job keeping the bad guys out of the usa and from getting a visa.
this whole system is not about people it is for the money as always why do you pay thousands of dollars for the same thing the mexicans get free and then some.
-
Our interview this year they had no blue paper to print our blue slip on.
they used white.
after we sent all information requested
they send another blue slip on blue paper this time
I guess they used my $45.00 a minute interview
money and bought some supplies
ha ha
Now they ask for DNA test for fiancee and daughter
but have no supplies to do test.
I have to send my daughter to lab in USA and have lab send 2 DNA kits
to the consulate in Guangzhou. then they send back to USA for processing
after they take the samples.
How many years does it take for them to get organized to do what they are there for?

Similar topic with comments about visa types etc.
I came here to Yudu china Jiangxi province May 5th 2008 on a single entry 6 month visa. then from the local visa they by Chinese law they can give you 2 mor of the same visa then you must leave china.
September 15th 2009 was the day I had to leave the mainland of China.
We went to Hong Kong the the embassy they would only give me a 30 day visa or nothing so I had to do it. Now it was to expire the 17th
of this month we went back to the visa office in ganzhou which I think is the capital of this province where we went before for a new visa.
Always before all I need was a new aplication for a visa and a statement notarized from the police here in Yudu but this time we went yesterday a 2 hour round trip on the bus to Ganzhou and they would not give me a visa without a noterized resident permit form/
So we came back home and went to the police station to get one after going to 3 police stations to get one because no one knew anything about what we were asking for no one even had or knew what the form was so we went to the visa office here and they had the form but would not notarize it so we went back to the police station and give it to them to stamp they would not so we ended going to the chief of police and he stamped it. then today we went back to Ganzhou to get me visa today and to get them togive me another 6 month visa we had to educate them about the K1 process
they ask why didn't we just married here. Any way I got a new 6 month visa good until April 14th 2010 and if I need or want to I can now get one more 6 month visa that will let me stay in china until October 13th 2010. this is my 5th visa since coming to china
4 6 month and 1 30 day visa which will let me stay here 30 months
without having to return to usa for new visa.

Yep, the visa application form does have boxes to check for multi entry, and specify longer stays. Not true, you can get at least a 60 day multiple entry visa good for two years. My wife has one.
http://www.oasischinavisa.com/forms/China_...cation_Form.pdf
However it is up to the visa issuing officer to decide stay lengths and entry count.
In warpedboard's case, wife has family in China so can justify a multi-entry 60 day visa. In OP's case he has only a fiancee in China, so may be restricted to a 6 month 2 entry 30 day visa as a visitor.
DAN 2 30 DAY STAYS IS NOT 6 MONTHS
Since I have been in china for the period of 3 6 month visas single entry you can only get 2 more visas after entering china after the first one without leaving china this is my case now so I have to leave china to get a new one. But this is what has me worried now this is from the chinese embassy in hong kong
--------visa applicants are increasing in a large number and need longer waiting time in the visa office recently. If you don't reside or work in Hong Kong permanently, you are required to apply Chinese visa from the Embassy or Consulate-General of Peoples' Republic of China in your resident country. You are welcome to China for tourism, business and visit.
So tomorrow I will find what I can or can not do. I sure hope I don't have to return to the USA just to get a visa and come right back.

My wife & stepdaughter & I came to usa after me living in Yudu China for 23 months April 6th 2010.
both of them got very home sick for about 2 months then were ok.
Now they don't want to go back to China but I do.
My wife Helen is working very hard at learning english daughter knows it very well from school in China. last month our daughter joined the army sent to fort brag north carolina.
Today we got a phone call from her to tell us she was awarded her usa citizenship.
this is 2 years 3 months earlier than if she had not joined the army.
Helen is studing the 100 questions for citizenship test 8 & 10 hours every day which is helping her with learning english too.
