Well, we just got our K1 P3 and the forms look different from what they were online. You might want to update the FAQ file from here http://candleforlove.com/FAQ/CFL_FAQ_P3_Final1.htm#Q1_10 to mention that the "3. P3 Supplemental Sheet" is no longer included in the packet. They have apparently changed the "2. OF-169" book as well. The only thing it asks us to send back are the following: 1. DS-230 (part I) 2. OF-169 Quote from page 1 on the OF-169 "Complete and send the enclosed form DS-230 Part I, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration as as this document (Form 169)."

This is the Department of Homeland Security at work again, that same poorly conceived and organized department with the inept and incompetent management that demonstrated their efficiency and effectiveness with the Katrina debacle. And if anyone wants another example of their management skills, take a look the efficient and timely operation of their California Service Center. Many innocent people in New Orleans met their deaths because of DHS's incompetence. The worst "punishment" we are facing is only a delay. Hello!!!! My very first post so please go easy on me. I've been lurking in the shadows reading this site for a few weeks and got my ID a few days ago. I hope I can add to the discussion and help others where I can. I am currently living with my SO in our apartment in China awaiting her P3. I have one of those rare-lucky jobs that lets me work from anywhere in the world as long as I have a fast internet connection so I decided 2 months ago to stay with her full-time during the entire Visa Hell/Ordeal. I've been to China several times before I met my sweety. As such, the "differences" between US and here are not that new to me. Ok, so you're probably wondering why is this post here and not in the "our stories" section... well... I am currently waiting for the P3 to be received by GUZ and I thought I'd post my little time-study on how the cases are received by GUZ from US to get a better sense for how many days it takes. I'm a supply-chain project manager for a major networking company so this kinda stuff is easy for me to do. Results: Average Days: 34.3 Days Average without the values that are less than 15 days: 40.15 Days The 40 day value is more what I expect to have happen, but I would like to have clarity on why some of the I-730s are received in less than 15 days. Fair is fair and nothing should get ahead of the line unless I'm missing something.
