  1. Yes I do agree with you. Also it may eliminate some confusion with newbies confusing the cr-1 P-3 and the K P-3
  2. It has only been a few hours that I found out Cr-1 package delivered to the consulate and wrote previous post. so now I decided to call DOS to check on K-3 status. It was singed for by Consulate at begining of April. When I asked if status was open the lady at DOS said she had seen 2 today that went open but they have been waiting since Dec and Jan. She said she thought maybe mine has had not enough time but would be happy to check. She came back surprised and told me it was in open status as of today. How can I verify this????
  3. I guess the turtle is not dead just very slow. It just moved a little. Cr1 package was delivered to Consulate today and signed by STAMP at 10 AM

  5. YES** As to inputing data. I was told by a lady at DOS that after packages are opened that the information is entered into there system on Saturday. I would assume packages are opened and infomation compiled thru the week and then all items are uploaded to their main system on that one day.
  6. Hi,USCONGUZ Thanks for your help here. I was just wondering why it took so long to get our cases finally get into the GUZ computer? Where causes the delay? Is it possible that our cases would get lost during the transition process? And after it gets inot the systerm, how long would the name check be? My case were sent out from NVC in Dec last year, and we called both DOS and GUZ, they told us there is no infomation about it right this moment, so where is our case? Is it still not cleaned from the custome or somewhere like a black hole? why some cases go faster, some so slow? I kind of feeling that cases for married people are actually slower than other type, why? Thanks again, finding you here means a lot. Tina 199063[/snapback] Question?? If one applys for K-3 the name check is completed prior to forwarding the file to GZ. Correct? If one has also applied for CR-1 and that arrives at GZ a short time later then can the prior name check be used ?? it should be considered current and valid. Correct?? And if not used why not? Thank you in advanced for your reply TAC
  7. NVC has sent our K3 paperwork to GZ on 2/27 and will send I-130 paperwork soon, as per lady at NVC on phone 3/10. How does one track things at GZ. Thanks TAC
