My fiances brother got her a new electric rice cooker, but I am not sure if we can find an adaptor to use it in the USA. Is it possible to get an adaptor, and if so would it be easier to find in China before we leave, or in the United States? By the way, I live in Detroit, and there doesn't seem to be a large Chinese presence here, would that make it harder to find one? Thanks, Walter

My Fiance Li is filling out form GIV-24 and is not sure what to put into section 7. It seems weird to have a section detailing my parents and siblings here in the USA. Is that what she is supposed to write in here? This paperwork is so confusing, Thanks for any help you can give, Walter

Hello Everyone, I've been lurking here for awhile, trying to gain a better understanding of the Visa process, and I've been impressed by all the knowledge everyone here has shown. Things have been going pretty well on my and my fiancee's (her name is Li ) K1 Visa petition up to this point. But now It seems like it has stalled out and I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do next... I called the State Department and they said that Guangzhou shipped out the P3 on 11/03/05, but she still hasn't gotten it yet. When we ship something to each other it takes about 10 days, so it seems like it should have arrived by now. What should I do??? Can she go to Guangzhou and pick up the P3 in person (I'll spring for a plane ticket and hotel room if that will speed things up)? How can I get ahold of someone at Guangzhou and make sure they have the correct address and have them send another P3 package if that is the only option? Thanks for any advice that you can give, I'm not good at dealing with paperwork like this (I'm a bit disorganized), and this is getting stressful... Walter
