hi everyone hope you are all doing great. wife and i are going back end of march , and looking for a dc adapter so i can take my tablet ,or are there any better ideas . it will be our first trip back together since she arrived. first time i was there bought a cheap belkin dc adapter but it fried my battery charger so looking for a better idea. speaking of battery charger i bought a powa charger [modelpw-9888] been working great since i bought it and had no problems while in china with it .

my wife is also a wuhan girl . yes she likes "freeeesh aiiiir" in winter. guess i will wear warm at home or use heater with window open :unsure:but this year we decided don"t open window too widely,also can close the curtain

i wrote to him shortly after his brother bobby died [ 9 years old then ] . he sent me two photos . one of jfk and family easter 63' , and one of bobby . you may not have agreed with his politics , but i thought it was a very kind thing for the man to do so soon after he lost his 2nd brother to a assassin's bullet . nobody needs to be shot over their political view. rest in peace teddy

very glad to hear this . my lao po got her's a month ago after a couple trips to uscis office for fingerprint's . now she has read that we need to apply for 10 year card by sept. or she will be shipped back . i have told her we have a year and half of no paperwork . but she does not think i am right . help me explain this to her .

got lao po's 2 year card today . finally. we went to bank today so she could get her own debit card . oh no what have i done

we received my lao po's s.s. card today . plus another welcome letter hope her green card will follow soon .

it was just more biometrics . she was fingerprinted and had photo taken again . big sweat over nothing . but when i handed the letter we received to the lady at the counter she said first time she had seen this type of letter . so we had to wait a few minutes longer while she checked it out . one of the great lessons i learned today was to read the signs at parking lots more carefully . we were close to the time of our appointment plus it was raining, saw $4 for all day parking ,not going to be their no more than a hour or two i hoped, then $1 with what i thought it said for hour or two parking . came back to the car found ticket on window. reread the sign , $1 for after 5pm parking , a $15 lesson . parking should be free at government buildings . what a scam , wonder how many other suckers go through this everyday . but should have known to read even a parking sign at a government building more closely .

no not asking for anything in letter. just saying that biometrics are missing or incomplete. would it be her x-rays ? yes cr-1

lao po was fingerprinted , and her medical info. was checked in guz. .she had her med. exam in guz. 2 days before her interview. talked to someone at uscis this past monday 3-2-2009. asked about her card and no mention about any problem . just that they had not made her card yet . waiting on her 2 year green card

just received a letter from the texas service center ." a review of your packet indicates your biometrics are missing or incomplete. we can not complete the processing of your immigrant visa packet without the biometric data ". have talked to uscis . but they were not much help . have already made appointment on infopass . anyone else have this problem . we just went to wichita yesterday to fill out paperwork for her s.s.# card . everything going great . had a article in our local paper about us [ i mentioned how candle was a great help ] valentines week . hope the best for everyone

we have been home now for about 2 weeks . everything is going great . but was wondering about when to expect g.c. . some of the nice things that have happened , we have a man who makes signs for events and he made one welcoming my wife . it was on our main street for 4 days . we took many photo's . then this past week our local paper had a article about us for valentines day [ we bought 5 copies]. my wife is enjoying the small town life . she say's everyone is so friendly and she really enjoys the quiet . also is there a phone # to call just to ask about g.c. . take care everyone , and happy valentines day

i can not wait to say the same thing , my so is in shanghai airport right now getting ready to come to our home . 4 pm tomorrow can not come soon enough
