Anyone know if I can do a DCF if i have a 1 year L-visa and 1 year temporary residency permit(little yellow paper)? Normally, they want a Z-visa, X-visa, or "long term official authorization permitting you to live in China". What does "long term" mean? rho123

I was born and raised in California. My chinese is just so so. I met my future wife in Shanghai while working there. I was just wondering if they may treat her visa application same as any other. Just wondering? We plan to get married in Shanghai first. Then do the K3 or CR1. Is there a preference? RHO123
