Hi, I was applying for my Chinese mother. I am a US citizen. Is the Uscis estimate for how long it will be to process the initial application I-130 just for the first part of the process that is handled by the USCIS or does that estimate which is one year to 16 months the total time for visa processing including for the Department of State? Is there a way to check how long the Department of STate is taking or only by reading other people's timelines? Thanks for your time. Have a great day. christer
