So Gweilo's constant propagandizing pays off with his own 15 minutes of fame on Nanning TV. Too bad there is no translation, but the video is well done and much better than his own videos. He comes off much more mellow and less strident and hectoring. Maybe that is the real Kirk. We get to see him not talk Mandarin, drink beer and walk along filming himself, just like in his vids, only from another perspective. I wonder if he will go back to Canada for his wife's surgery? It probably would have been okay, as Vancouver Island has not had many covid cases.

Hello, @Barfus: Yeah my wife is a US citizen. I am going to send another message first week of June and see what they say. In their previous reply they also mentioned that they were aware of my case and situation (I assume concerning my chinese visa expiring in July) I guess I am a man of hope and hoping they would process it in June. If their reply is negative then I would ask my wife to reach out to her representative and senators. I have waited so long, no harm in waiting another week unless if you guys have any other suggestions. (I have been hearing a lot of talk about consulates opening by June 4 or 5, lets see.... ) I will keep you guys updated.
