paula
Dear USCONGUZ, I was honest to tell VO my former communist membership at the begining of June. I was told Guangzhou consulate must run a security name check on me, which will take 2 months, but now It has been over 3 months after my interview. I still have no any answer from consulate. Could you please tell me how long this name check will take? and where it will done? in China or Washington? I have noticed on 001 forum( Chinese women with american husbands or fiances) that some chinese ladys admited communist memership in front of the visa officer, they were issued visa without any problems, some were delayed to run another background check. Why is it so different? Is there different regulations to diferrent visa types? or just depend on individual's luck or different visa officer attitude towards communist??? Thanks Link to comment
