jakerhod
Hello: What will happen to K3 in GUZ if it wasn't processed and the CR1 has been completed and is now in HNK Consulate. Thanks. Link to comment
USCONGUZ
If someone has already received a CR1 visa, then all processing is stopped on the K3. If for some reason we were unaware that you had already received the CR1 we would stop processing it after not hearing from you for one year. This would have no adverse effect on you. Sincerely, IV unit, US Consulate, Guangzhou, China Link to comment

Thanks.194101[/snapback]Probably not unless we had a reason to do so. It's not uncommon for people to stop processing their cases. As previously mentioned there is nothing wrong with not processing a case to conclusion, so there would probably be no reason for us to contact HK or vice versa. Of course if fraud was suspected somewhere, then we'd contact each other for sure. Link to comment
david_dawei
Following the example of a GUZ and HK processes in tandem: If the CR1 interview gets scheduled at one and the K3 at another... 1) Does the simple 'request for information' (Overcome) prompt a notice to another post? 2) Does the post seeking revocation by returning the case to USCIS in the states prompt a notice to another post? [purpose of questions is to see if/when an applicant can continue to pursue the other visa in light of the first one having some issue] Link to comment

Naturally, if an applicant has recently been refused for an immigrant visa elsewhere, this will likely lead to a line of inquiry in that direction.... Link to comment
