Great news. I am also going the IR-1 route, and you can see from my timeline, I think that NVC re-did some things. Still waiting for the DS-230 and the I-864. Last I heard, they still have not even received the checks that I mailed 3-3-05

I start to help my wife to prepare all the necessary

forms and notary documentations for the medical examination

and interview. Any suggestions to avoid possible burdens, please?

 

oh, one question is: do I have to prepare another set of notarized

I-864 for the interview? ( I have submitted one to NVC already)

 

The other thing is: my wife told me that some two thousands RMB's

fee is mentioned in her P4, but the information is not clear. I have

no idea what this fee is, the only thing I know for sure is a $35

additional IV payment must be paid at post. So what is this fee ?

Someone told me this fee should be paid before the medical examination

is done, and a copy of the payment receipt will be wrapped into

a package along with other paperworks. And this package

must not be opened until the interview.
