At the suggestion of my attorney, my fiancee got a written permission from her ex to take the daughter out of China. I truly don't know about the custody laws in China..I'm just following instruction. I posted on another thread my fiancee was able to get the photo of her ex holding a newspaper from the day .

 

I'm stuill scratching my head as to what the consulate is thinking...what happens to all those fiancees who have uncooperative exes? My so goes back to the consulate on Tuesday...I'll keep everyone posted.
