yave20b
My company also uses this company "The Work Number" for employment verification. But it is mostly for those day-to-day things involving employment verification needs like mortgage applications, credit applications, loan applications, and other minor things. I'm not sure it will be what the Consulate is looking for in the area of employment verification. My understanding is that it has to be a "signed" letter of employment. I really think the best thing to do is to go to someone either at your company's HR department, or if your company does not have an HR department, someone pretty high up, to write and sign a letter for you. I went to my HR department and they typed up a short letter on the company letterheard (1 paragraph) with all the important points noted by the I-134 instructions, signed and dated it. It took all of 3 minutes. My opinion only. Link to comment
warpedbored
My company's headquarters and HR dept. are in Mn. I simply had my immediate supervisor write one out on company letter head. They are problably more interested in your W-2 forms and recent check stub anyway. Link to comment
