tywy_99
Just thinking about the dreadful slip, I thought it might come in handy to others if we all can post it here. A kind of running account and an imformational source to others. With that said, let me be the first: Blue slip received: 10-24-03. VO wanting my actual divorce decree.I quickly cleared the matter up with a phone call back home. Why the VO wanted it, I just don't know, but a bit of advice: A blue slip is not the end of the world, as Dragon pointed out in his post. Just handle it and get it cleared up. But should you get a blue slip, hide it away out of sight of everyone outside of the consulate because if the lawyers people see it, they will relentlessly hound you. -good luck to all! jkobman
I HATE BLUE SLIPS!! (but they are conquerable!) Interview in GZ - 8/16/2004Blue Slip issued- 8/16/2004 Made videotape to satisfy VO's request- 8/16/2004Returned videotape to VO at Consulate - 8/17/2004Visa Issued - 8/19/2004 I knew what to do because the CFL people shared their experiences. The Blue Slip was a shock, but I had thought it out, made a plan in case the VO issued one and went into action when I saw that nasty Blue Slip in her hand! Link to comment
