I have spent almost 18 month gathering documents, filling out forms sending packets of information only now to hear the infamous words of “Nothing Yet”. No clearance from Guangzhou, still waiting. I spend my days now calling one agency after another and each time you either hear the same story, they hang up on you, or just the I’m sorry routine. How long do you think one must wait? I feel that I myself have waited long enough, have completed every form requested of me and now that I ask my very own GOVERNMENT for help I’m shunned away like some beggar. I’ve done everything that I can do, and now I need your help when it most counts and I get nothing in return. I hear everyone say they are working on it, just wait, but as I write this letter it is over 5 months of waiting and still no visa. Others that have interviewed in September and October have already been issued visas but I still wait. So much for the American way of justice in which the Government is suppose to represent and support its people. I am appalled at the way your department operates and wonder if it is a leadership problem. I wonder who is doing the checks and balances within your organization. I guess if I was rich, or if I owned a major league team my visa would be processed overnight like it has been done so many times these past 6 months from your office. I begin to wonder what kind of Government we support, is it for the rich and famous and the very few at the top, it sure looks like it is. Any way I could go on with many complaints, but it probably would only fall on deaf ears, I only ask for a true and honest answer of when will my Fiancé receive her visa. NAME: XXXXXXXXXX CASE #: XXXXXXXX INTERVIEW DATE: August 12th 2002 LOCATION: Guangzhou, China Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Cliff J. Larson Link to comment
