Ordinarily Texas is a very slow place to file the I-130.

 

However, I just remembered a post a few weeks back:

You definately need to read this carefully and follow up on it if possible as I think it discussed expediting the I-130 processing.

 

Hmmm, it discusses showing up at the Dallas office and having the interview the same day.... Perhaps it doesn't apply if one can't legally show up at the Dallas office
