Allon Posted September 12, 2016 Report Share Posted September 12, 2016 Yeah, even the lady that took my previous photo told me not to wear my glasses. She was so small I had to bend down to make the face square with the camera and not have a lot of shadows which they don't like either. When we went for our 5 year visa, the officer asked me if I was mad. He said it looked like a mug shot. I looked like a serial killer. He was OK with it when I explained. I got a new picture right away. Link to comment

Even back then, they had me take off my glasses - this was at the photo shop here in Yulin. I wonder if that's not an international standard now. Seems like a good idea. Link to comment
