Randy W
The only other people we saw at the rock forest were with this tour group - they had 2 or 3 other places to get to that day so they just zipped right by us

Jade Stone Forest(玉石林)in Hezhou, is a set of white marble formations. There are various shapes of stones here. It only takes 5-10 minutes to descend the #mountain for there's a long slide! #travel #photography #singlechallenge #naturechallenge source: RED Edited November 5, 2022 by Randy W (see edit history)
Randy W
A vivid and picturesque landscape #painting: Adjoining mountains shrouded in mist and decorated by stunning sunrise. In #Hezhou(贺州), if you have visited the Huangyao Ancient Town, do not forget to admire this beautiful sight called the sunrise of Dongtanling(东谭岭). Getting up early to see the #sunrise deserves a try. It’s best to stay here for one night, sitting on the roof and watch the sky full of stars. #nature #travel #photography #photooftheday from Discover Guangxi China on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/DiscoverGuangxi/posts/pfbid0PJkHCkD9GkfVL2PtNiXaN2gnDYszwYWNdTnR42ukkMvMJZqMLbKE5199WRyTbgUhl Edited November 5, 2022 by Randy W (see edit history)
Randy W
On a trip in 2010 to Hezhou and Huangyao with the University, we also visited this site. #Hezhou’s Xianguzhai(仙姑寨)which has antique courtyards inside is a perfect destination for lovers of #photography. We recommended you to stay here for one night to experience the poetic water town of #China. It’s a nice choice to take pictures on the bridge or near the small pond. #culture #nature from Discover Guangxi China on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/DiscoverGuangxi/posts/367038141535555 This is what it looked like in 2010. I think they told us it had been constructed as a movie site. Edited November 5, 2022 by Randy W (see edit history)
Randy W
Remember a weirwood tree in #GameOfThrones? You can find many banyan #trees in Huangyao Ancient Town(黄姚古镇), and some are even with a #history of more than 850 years. They look like the claws of a dragon deep into the ground. A rare and spectacular sight! #nature #tree #photography from Discover Guangxi China on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/DiscoverGuangxi/posts/369009188005117 Edited November 5, 2022 by Randy W (see edit history)
