They will be traveling from Heilongjiang to Sanya.According to Google Maps, that's a distance of 5,674 kilometers and 1,162 hours. Hopefully they don't get tired of each other. As I recall, his book was somewhat negative in its outlook on China, especially the rural areas where people stared at him and followed him around. Don't know if it is still in print.
