Woman dies after being trapped in her apartment's broken elevator for 30 days

 

A woman's remains have been removed from the elevator of an apartment complex she lived in after a malfunction trapped her inside for over a month.

According to NetEase, the incident took place in Xian, Shaanxi province. Reports indicate that police found a female corpse in the elevator on March 1 and subsequently launched an investigation into the woman's death.

What a horror! I can't imagine being trapped in an elevator for an hour, much less thirty days. Such a thing, along with being buried in a coffin and waking up, are a couple of my worst fears.
