Thanks for this comment. Though, it is actually on the wrong side of the regime, not anti-Chinese. Still, I suppose the party monitors who attends these shows so we will not be attending. Yep' it's like that.

Not anti-chinese, it is mildly anti-communist, and yes I took the wife to one once, for the most part the show is all pageantry and highlights just the classic dancing performing arts, I seem to remember just one short skit that highlights human rights abuse that various communist regimes are known for.

It's anti-China without doubt. The vast majority of Chinese folks I know in my six years in China absolutely love their country and are fully patriotic. They don't take kindly to folks like these whose intent is to bash. Too much attention is paid to hollywood groups and entertainers when it comes to China, but it plays well to a gullible public for sure.

 

Here's some feedback from folks who actually went to the propaganda affair and paid the huge fee to help further their agenda.
