doomrizzle
http://ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-niv-securityinfo.asp This page says the following are prohibited inside the consulate. Sealed envelopes or packagesHowever the instructions for the K1 visa as listed on ustraveldocs states the medical examination report must remain sealed. DO NOT open the envelope as you must bring the sealed medical report to your visa interview. The validity of your visa is tied to your medical exam’s validity. What's the deal here? Thanks Link to comment

Thanks Just an oversight on the web page. If the security people want to take a peek into the envelope to verify the contents, I suppose they could by snipping a corner, but the envelope probably identifies the contents. If you DON'T bring the medical exam results to the interview or are not allowed to bring it with you, the visa will be be delayed until you can submit it through the CITIC Bank courier. We have not heard of this happening, though - take it with you. and leave any other sealed envelopes or packages outside with someone. Link to comment
