Current good VPN?

I will be in PRC for most of October. I need connection to various things for various reasons while there.

 

A year ago or more I was using Astrill but it was a sad mole in the whack-a-mole that is CN control.

 

Can anyone recommend a VPN I can use from PRC to do my U.S. Stuff? A PM is fine if you want to protect some names.

The best way to connect is with a TCP (non-continuous) connection. I'm still happy with ExpressVPN, which has many TCP servers.

Thanks, Randy, I 've got the VPN running on both the laptop and the ipad.

 

I will be in China the next 3 weeks and hope to be able to post a few pics to my gallery. I can do some things w/o vpn, but some important things will be broken if I try to connect from CN without the vpn.

ExpVPN was good in several parts of China. Not working well on iPad in Beijing - hardly at all - but the laptop was good. Then, in another province, both the iPad VPN (you get two for the price of one) and laptop worked well.

 

Worked best when I chose Hong Kong as the VPN server. Thank you, sir.
