Articles like that make me sick, especially the aspect by which Beijing's rules can be made to apply in the U.S., in Washington, no less!

 

They say a British company is running the show for the Chinese investors. And she can't talk to the press but the Chinese are allowed to.

 

It's a private game, so they can make whatever rules they want. I guess for now it is a better deal for China to buy the beauty pageant than to actually make the changes that would eliminate the type of press they are trying to avoid.
