97-year old Chinese immigrant votes for second time in her life during US mid-term elections

While American media were quick to stress that this is the first time that she has voted in her life, Chinese sources clarified that she had previously cast her vote once, in the Republic of China in 1946 before the mainland fell to the Communists in the Chinese Civil War, though it was not specified which election that referred to.
